A lot of practical things has been done, bought, fixed, changed, researched etc. but during our last week at the cabin we still had time to celebrate Rebecca’s birthday (the beautiful girl to the left).
In Denmark we have a tradition in my family: we get up early in the morning and make a delicious breakfast and sing “Happy Birthday to you (Rebecca)”. The breakfast was homemade oatmeal waffles with fresh fruit, maple syrup, cinnamon maple syrup and whipped cream/greek yoghurt on top. It was great!
SORRY – forgot to take a picture of the waffles
We all had a great morning – ate to many waffles
Douglas’s birthday present for Rebecca…
Before all the guests came the fridge was loaded with food – and I made my homemade guacamole. Find recipe on Instagram: @sund_camilla #cbsund
Everybody was having a good time – loved playing table tennis/ping-pong in the living room.
OKAY – I lost… hate losing, but he was better then me. I love competitions… and I love winning – who doesn’t? Winning is just so much more fun than losing
Time for the birthday cake…
We didn’t even finish the birthday song before Daisy (Rebecca’s daughter) blew out the candles . It was a cheesecake with strawberry’s on the side. Love cheesecake
We have meet a lot of great people the last 6 weeks, but It was time to say goodbye to everybody, whom have made our time at the cabin special. The last Sunday at the cabin we went to church with Douglas and Rebecca trying to get God on our side before leaving.
We respect and appreciate all the words from our friends – you are like family. Especially, we are grateful to Douglas and his family, who prayed together with us before leaving – SAFE TRAVEL.
This one is for good luck – it have been on my motorcycle since fall 2009, and Esben has one too
We packed all the luggage on the motorcycles… read more about the luggage, straps and motorcycle cover under GEAR: “Motorcycle luggage”. My motorcycle in the left picture and Esben’s motorcycle to the right.
We are ready to hit the road!
