SENA invited us to come and visit them. Their marketing office was located just 15 minutes ride from our friends house, so we just had to stop buy.
SENA’s plan was to interview us about our upcoming trip to South American. Instead of just sitting in the office, they put on camera’s and connected our SENA 10R with Alyssa’s intercom. Thanks to SENA’s technical expert (the guy to the right in the picture) everything was working in just a few minutes, and we were ready to hit the road.
That way we were all connected, so we could do the interview while riding. It worked really well – all of it. We rode to a viewpoint just outside Laguna Beach.
Alyssa and me (Camilla) at the viewpoint – what a great day at the office for Alyssa
It was a great day and we loved the ride – thank you SENA and Alyssa for inviting us.
Before leaving the US, we have planned to get two new seats from Seat Concepts. Again the GPS told us that it was only 1 hour and 15 minutes, but it took Esben 2 hours before he was there. At Seat Concepts they make a foam according to your weight. After that they pour it into a mold, which shapes the seat for more long distance travel.
Look how happy Esben is after he got his new seat on the bike
This is the production at Seat Concepts – Here you see how the mold with foam is kept in place, until the foam has expanded and dried completely
After they take the seat out of the mold, they put a cover on. We choose a cover that is smooth on the sides and has a rubber surface on top, which prevents you from sliding on the seat
This is the final result…
Esben had a great ride home, and he only stopped to take a picture, and not because his but was hurting
Thanks to Seat Concepts – they got the first sticker on Esben’s side cases next to the world map.
